K. TYLER JOHNSTON - FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Tyler is an award winning, producer, director & actor. In 2015 his feature documentary “My Father’s Land” was awarded an Amnesty International Human Rights award. He studied acting & directing at The University of Southern Maine & is a graduate of the Maine College of Art & the Maine Media Workshops. He founded the Portland Maine Film Festival to support & celebrate film making in Maine.

ROMOLA LUCAS - DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS
Romola is an entertainment attorney and film producer. She co-founded Anansi Studios, an online platform for Caribbean films and the Caribbean Film Academy, which works to promote, screen, produce, and distribute Caribbean films. Romola is also the director of the Timehri Film Festival and co-founder of the Third Horizon Film Festival. |
ANDREA GOLLIN - DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
Andrea is a writer and editor, with nonfiction work published widely, and her short stories have appeared in literary journals. She has edited several dozen books, has associate produced two documentary films, and is a writer-in-residence at Nantucket Island School of Design and the Arts. She has written grants for museums, arts organizations, and universities. Andrea received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Virginia. |
JOSEPH WILLWERTH - DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS
Joseph is the Director of Programming of the Bushwick Film Festival, one of the top 100 rated festivals on FilmFreeway.com. He is a born-and-raised New Englander who moved to New York to earn his BA in film at Hunter College and stayed to immerse himself in the city’s film industry. Joseph lives in Flatbush, Brooklyn. |
TIKIRA BERESFORD - DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT Tikira is a creative producer with a background in science, and a foundation in yoga. She has worked in international film production for over a decade, creating award winning creative content and facilitating organizational development and community outreach. Recently, she associate Produced "The Cutlass," an award winning Caribbean feature film. |
