Her book, Moving Machines: The Experience of New Technologies from Widescreen to Digital Cinema, is forthcoming from Columbia University Press. She has also published articles on film spectatorship and technology in Cinema Journal and Film History.

Joseph Sumner
Friend of the Festival Joseph Sumner is the founder of Vyclone, a video application that allows multiple smart phones to link live video recordings and seamlessly synchronize the audio track. Vyclone users can also share and remix thier videos online. He is the lead singer and bass player in the UK band, Fiction Plane. Joe is the son of actress Frances Tomelty and singer/actor/activist Gordon Sumner. |
